Strap on your snowshoes or hiking boots and explore the Tamarack Hollow reservation.
Snowshoe the high elevation spruce-fir forests of Windsor and learn about this unique ecosystem, where plant species such as balsam fir and red spruce are the dominant trees. We hope to find tracks of snowshoe hare, ruffed grouse, and other fascinating wildlife. Our hike will be two miles round trip over moderately challenging terrain. In the event of little or no snow, this will be a hike.
